I understand these things take time, I am upset about the constant assurances that things would be done when they weren't. Under promise, over deliver. If you're dealing with this business, you are grieving, have a million other things on your mind, and deserve better than having to work with this man.

Barton's service is personal, efficient...affordable!! I will always recommend Barton to others.

My family thankfully chose Barton when I lost my Mother. Steve was friendly, informative and immensely accommodating. My family had trouble locating military paperwork that was needed for the burial at Tahoma National Cemetery and Steve kept in constant contact with me until it was all sorted out. He made us feel like we were his top priority. My sister and I felt great comfort to have him at the burial service with us. We knew he was able to take care of details when we were feeling very overwhelmed.

THIS WAS ALL FROM ONE EMPLOYEE, JASON STONER. Everyone else, (rare I talked to them though as it was only once there was a problem) was lovely and what you would expect from someone working in this business.

My dad recently passed away and every single deadline we were given for when things were going to be ready for a simple cremation was wrong. I called expecting to be able to pick up his ashes only to be told that his body was still sitting there (over a week). No one ever called us to let us know they had a little bit more paperwork for us to do. The forms for the death certificates sat on a desk for over a week, while my mom was waiting for them so she could file for life insurance. When I was assured a second time that I would be able to pick up the ashes, I got there to be told they weren't in yet, maybe tomorrow. My mom was told that her blown glass heart would be ready on three different occasions.

As long as he is there, I would say you'd be better off driving to the other side of the city.

I'll start this by saying that I have thought about this for a while and have given myself time to separate from my grief, so I'm calm now.
