Been going to this location for years....last time I went to replace my headphones that were under warranty the employee forgot to renew the geek squad warrenty on the new headphones. If he had asked it would have charged me 3 bucks. Instead I now have to buy $20 headphones because of employee negligence. WOULD HAVE GLADLY PAID THE 3 DOLLARS LIKE I DID LAST 5 TIMES MY HEADPHONES BROKE!!!

I recently had one of my worst customer experiences ever. I ordered a TV online and confirmed via phone the order status for deliver. Come delivery day - no show. No calls, no communication, nothing. When I called in the automated system told me it would be delivered from 10-2pm. When I checked online it still had my order for delivery from 8am -12pm, but also said I would need to reschedule. The ordering system didn't seem to know what was happening. I called the local store directly and was met with apathy. They repeatedly refused to help me and would only transfer me to 1888BESTBUY. After several calls and waiting on hold for hours, I finally got to the one person at Best Buy that actually cares. She was able to tell me that the warehouse had simply failed to put my TV on the delivery truck. No TV was delivered - and the soonest I could reschedule was 3 days later. Lastly, I was unable to cancel the order online and had to waste even more time calling.

This store sucks. If you walk in, half the employees are standing around trying to avoid helping you.

Ugh, this was juts about the worst online experience I have had in a long time!!! I don't always want to wait for Amazon, but they usually get it right. Thought I would try to see if they had what I wanted in stock and then order it so I could run in and run out. Overall the online order process and follow up were bad. I am sure there might be some "operator error" on my behalf, but I ended up wasting time and driving to the store only to be told it was not ready / available. Then I asked to cancel the order live with the store they assured me I would receive a cancellation email within a minute. 90 minutes later I am calling back to the store to can get my cancellation confirmation. while waiting on hold I was disconnected twice. What a horrible experience all around.

Your typical Best Buy. Plenty helpful. Didn’t carry internal WiFi cards, but did have a USB one that could do up to 600Mbps.

One star? Oh yes. And they definitely earned this terrible rating! We visited the Magnolia Hi-Fi center in search of a good quality HDMI cable capable of passing 4K UHD HDR content on November 11th, 2017 at 6:30pm. They had several cables on the wall in the design center, one of which was just coiled up with no box. No price, either. In fact, none of the items on their wall of cables had any prices. When we asked about the unboxed one, the sales rep started typing a bunch of stuff into their computer only to come back with a "That's a 5 meter cable". No price. We asked again, and also what this other 5M cable was right above it with identical ratings. They started feeding me BS about silver content in the two identically but somehow different cables. One cost $299 and the other was $159, but since it was an "open box", they're going to 'cut me a deal' and sell it to me for $129. When I asked how the super expensive cable could possibly cost so much more, she told me that it had "better shielding and more silver", then said "it really does make a huge difference". I looked at her and said "It's digital data. Both cables have exactly the same rating. How exactly does my digital data work better on one cable versus the other when they're both rated to handle the same exact speed and type of data?" Then she said, "You want to hear the difference?" and I said "Oh, absolutely. I definitely want to hear how your super expensive cable is going to make my compressed HDMI digital data with error correction somehow sound better." Then she disappeared into the back. A few minutes later, she shuffled past me with two cables, and said "We'll show you on this sound bar over here..." And I replied, "That new 4k video soundbar? What?" and then I saw she had brought out two Toslink Optical cables, not the HMDI cables we were originally talking about. When I noted that we weren't discussing Toslink cables or S/PDIF protocols, she said "Well, it's the same thing". So I laughed at her, and said "Uh, no, it's not even close. There's no wires in your plastic Toslink cable and the protocol's not even remotely similar. You're just trying to BS your way out of your own ignorance, and you're trying to do it at my expense!" Then I walked out.

Save your time, shop with a local business or Amazon or anywhere else really.

I absolutely hate Best Buy. They are BS artists, and they are begging for retail death. They are good for one thing only, and that is to see what you're going to be getting from Amazon later that same day.
