I've been coming to this clinic since it opened. Every receptionist has been welcoming, courteous and organized. They work to accommodate patients, going the extra mile, even on the phone! My Doctor is thorough. I have never felt rushed - he takes the time to explain every test, results, and health care plan. Follow-ups are important and he makes sure that is part of the plan as well. I feel safe and confident with all aspects of this clinic related to my care. I'm also very thankful that they are here in my neighborhood! Thanks Neighborcare Health - to each and everyone of you! You're the best!
Helpful? Wow. I was told to come in at 3:15. After waiting in the reception area from 3:10 until 4:30, with not a single person even addressing us or informing me the doctor was running late, or apologizing for the wait, I went back up to reception. They confirmed my appointment time of 3:30, but asked me to come in 15-20 minutes early to fill out paperwork (which took all of 5 minutes). At that point they said, yeah, he's running a bit late. And actually, they said, they just didn't have a clean room. I saw about 15 people leave and only three go back and another three employees stop and chat at the front desk before casually going home. The doctor didn't come in the room to see us until 5:00, and when I mentioned that I have never waited so long for an appointment, ever, he argued that my appointment wasn't actually until 4 and when I was told to come in at 3:15, he said it was probably to fill out paperwork. I said, "Forty-five minutes? For two pages"? Apparently he didn't like me confronting this, because he instantly became indignant and patronizing, as if HIS time was extremely valuable. Not ours? This appointment was for a simple routine referral to an eye surgeon my daughter has seen for 10 years, but this doctor seemed to have go through a series of exercise to see if there was anything wrong with her sight. Yes, you might notice "she is wearing bifocals." I came away thinking that there must be a reason this guy is working in a community clinic and not his own practice or a major hospital. It seemed like everyone there was incompetent. Not where I want to go for trust in my healthcare.
Been here couple times and both my experiences were great. This clinic is friendly, helpful, and prompt. The staff are all professional. I just went in for an appt with Dr. Frances Chester and she made me feel very comfortable. I really appreciated her friendly demeanor and helpfulness. I wish I thanked her more in person! Would definitely recommend this clinic to all in the area.
The care is good, but getting a prescription refilled sometimes takes a week due to confusing or doctors not being available to sign off.
Poor billing service. They don't look out for their patients and bill inappropriately and make you pay inspite of medical insurance coverage. Would definitely NOT recommend this place for medical care.
