Beautiful park with trails running through woods of tall tree and blackberry bushes. There is a refreshing fountain water play park for parents to bring their children to play, as well as 2 play equipment areas and 2 ball fields on either end of the park. Within the trails, you will find entrance to a lovely off leash dog park with a big dog run for your fur baby to get their running out. A little bit of everything for every member of your family as well as the beauty and calm of nature. Parking lots are also on either end of the park by the ball fields and another where the playground area is in the center. In the summer, a free lunch program for children is also provided with a community dental health truck present in the parking lot by the playground in the morning hours around 10.
I go to this park because it's close to my house. and it's an alright spot but I wish there was a little more open space. also it gets terribly muddy when wet. never had a bad experience with the other dogs or dog owners
Fun in the summer when the water park is open. Two playgrounds, one for young children and one for older. Both are in good shape.
Quite difficult to access by transit and walking. That is the only downside to an otherwise wonderful facility. The park has a large hill that balls can be thrown down, a centrally located watering station, and lots of space.
This park always has a bunch of dogs in the front by the gate entrance. Today at around 3PM we tried to enter with our two spaniels when two pit bulls were at the gate and attacked our dogs. We were stuck with these dogs between the two gates. One attacking the dog I had I grabbed by the harness to throw him off. The one attacking our dog my husband had bit my husband's leg while he was protecting our puppy. My 8 year old daughter was crying and so upset. I'm glad she got out before she was attacked. We will NEVER go to this park again.
